The rest of my family are all platinum status and always stay comped in premium rooms where as I always stay in a deluxe room far away on the 2nd floor.

24 years of staying at the Horseshoe is probably coming to an end but the gambling won't. I like the casino but the family and I are beginning to stay at other casinos in Tunica and do not pay any resort fees and are comped nice rooms. Around March of 2021 El Dorado took over Caesars and that is when all the changes took place. I have spent a lot of entertainment dollars at the Tunica Horseshoe to attain diamond status with what used to be great perks and comps. They don't allow kids there so it's not like they have to close the pool early cuz a bunch of kids are going to be there so it really makes no sense why they close it so early.What do you get being diamond status? You do not pay ridiculous resort fees.that is about it. We stayed there two nights and I talked to several other Hotel guests and they weren't happy with the pool hours either.

That was the only disappointment about the hotel was the pool hours. so if you're like us who had a good six-hour drive to get to this casino and hotel and you're looking at least being able to stay in the hot tub for a few hours to relax but get there around 6:30 you're only going to have like an hour and a half and that's it. Your average hotel pool closes about 10:00 p.m. The only thing we were disappointed in was the pool hours. The staff was real nice kind and professional the rest of the hotel was nice and when you walked in to the lobby was really nice and luxurious. The only thing we wish they had was a refrigerator in the bedrooms. Rooms are real nice a little on the luxury side and the beds were nice and comfortable as well.
